Community Engineering Services sponsors charity golf tournament; takes second place

FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 11, 2006) – Community Engineering Services sponsored a golf tournament that raised $23,000 for improvements to the Six Mile Cypress Slough, and its company team took home second place in the event.

The money raised in the “Swing for the Slough” tournament will be used to help build an Interpretive Center at the slough, a 2,000-acre wetland preserve located on Six Mile Cypress Parkway in Fort Myers.

The Community Engineering Services team members who took second place in the tournament were Mark Texter, John Hahn, Don Smith and Jay Hardman.
